CITAQ

Features

One score per product.
Not one score for your store.

Most AI-visibility tools tell you how your brand is doing. CITAQ tells you how every productis doing — each SKU gets its own full diagnostic — and then fixes the ones AI won't cite.

Scoring & Category Engine

Each product page is crawled through a 5-tier fetch ladder, classified into one of 155 category archetypes, then run through seven independent scoring modules. The output is a single 0–100 citation-readiness score with a full module breakdown — and an evidence drawer behind every flag showing the exact text that triggered it.

Product-level, not brand-level. We score the exact page an AI agent lands on — and grade it against the fields its category actually needs.

AI Bot Access & Crawlability

For each product page we check whether 13 named AI crawlers are actually allowed to fetch it — reading the site's robots.txt and llms.txt, detecting WAF blocks that silently turn crawlers away, and grading how accessible the product's images are on an A–F scale.

Invisible to crawlers = uncitable by AI. We check 13 AI crawlers against every product page — not just your homepage.

Marketplace Readiness

If a product sells on Amazon or Walmart, we score how ready its listing is for the marketplace's own AI shopping assistant — Amazon's Rufus and Walmart's equivalent — with checks tuned to what those assistants actually read.

Sell on a marketplace, and each listing gets a Rufus-readiness score. DTC-only? We tell you it doesn't apply — we don't invent a number.

DTC-only stores see this section marked Not applicable — not a misleading zero.

Live Verification & Identity Defense

We query real AI platforms with buyer-intent questions in a product's category, then check whether the AI cites that product, misattributes its facts, or omits it entirely — across five identity slots and four platforms. This runs today and is verified by our test suite.

Verification, not prediction. We ask the AI directly what it thinks your product is — per product, per platform.

Today's scope is identity verification. Citation ranking, trigger maps and platform-coverage radar are shipping next — see the roadmap below.

Competitive Diff

Put one of your products next to one competitor's listing and see exactly what they carry that you don't — field by field and module by module. A quick inline compare, or a full diff against a named rival.

Compare one product to one competitor's listing — not your brand to their brand.

The roadmap keeps the same rule: per product, or not at all.

These are architected and in build — not live yet. We'd rather show you the honest status than dress a roadmap up as a shipped feature.

AI Citation Leaderboard

Rank isn't a brand-level fact. Each product wins or loses its category on its own.

Where a single product ranks against the top competitors in its category across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and AI Overviews — with the CRS score behind each rival and why it's cited.

11Roadmap

Citation Integrity Proof

A citation check is only useful if you can prove it wasn't edited after the fact.

A per-product SHA-256 hash-chain audit trail: every verification and score change recorded as a tamper-evident link, so a product's citation history can be independently checked.

12Roadmap

Audience Intelligence

AI recommends the same product differently to different buyers.

A per-product view of who the AI surfaces a listing to — demographic, geographic and funnel-stage slices of the queries that cite it.

13In development

Optimization & Brand Voice

The gaps a score exposes are the rewrites it should hand you next.

AI-assisted listing rewrites that close a product's specific missing-field gaps, plus a brand-voice consistency score across a catalog. The scoring engine is built and tested; it activates per dashboard as the data layer rolls out.

14Roadmap

Local & Contextual Citation

Citation rates aren't the same in every market or for every use-case — and neither is your product.

Per-product citation rates sliced by geography and by buyer use-case, so a listing that wins in one market and loses in another is visible as two different results.

15Roadmap

Indexability Verification

Being crawlable isn't the same as being indexable — grade both, per product.

A 26-point A–F crawlability grade for each product page, extending today's access audit into a full indexability report.

Programmatic API Access
